I recently sold my NF benchrest 12-42 and got the Siii 8-32 and I'm very happy for half the price. Its on a 223 but I have read it keeps zero very well on higher recoil rifles.

Hi the advantage I have when it comes to optics is I shoot with someone who's job it is is to review optics so I get to see and use the best and worst out there

And you feel the MINOX is the way to go as of now? I like my Sightron and they have great reviews but the eye relief is minimal IMO

People I know are sellingS & B pm11 and getting Zp5's and the cheaper minox are better than my Nightforce ,
I have a nightforce, S&B and a Minox and the Minox is far superior, the cheaper Minox are made and put together in China but to the same standard as the ones made in Europe hence the cheaper price point -

I don't think the sightron eye relief is worse than the vortex 6-24 hst I had. The eyebox was horrible on the vortex.

Yea I think vortex is over rated by ppl who don't wanna pony up for better scopes. I have 2 vortex scopes and there “good” but honestly my weaver scopes are as good and less finicky with eye relief. I think I'll try a MINOX, thanks sirs'!

Not a problem you will be amazed at how good they are

I have the same thoughts about my Vortex scopes, I like how the scope function but the glass is not on par with some other scopes in the same price range. I recently bought a Burris Droptine scope for a 22lr I'm working on and I was amazed at how good the glass is for $200-$300 scope…It has better glass then my Vortex HS LR that cost 3x as much…
The Minox scopes are worth a look for sure. Its nice having someone with with first hand experience and knows what to look for…Thanks for the feedback Larkin. How would you compare the Minox glass to Nightforce?

I thought my nightforce was great then I started shooting with ' European ' scopes and there is a marked improvement especially with the Minox , don't get me wrong the nightforce is a great scope , but it also about individual budgets , I got my nightforce and my Minox Zp 5 discounted by 40% on retail
Also I was perfectly happy with the nightforce , Then I used a European scope , if you have no problems with the scope you have just carry on with it , just resist looking through a Minox you will want one -

I also have a Burris and I think it's the clearest sharpest optic I currently own.
Hey Larkin can I get a MINOX at 40% off!? ?

Mine was classed has second hand it was put on a Blaser .308 for a press day , the rifle lay unused all day then the scope was taken off and sold to me

I did look at them but the sight had vague descriptions, in your opinion, somewhat budget minded, which particular model MINOX would you recommend for the CTR 260REM? Unlikely I'll get to take it beyond 600yds, 1000yds would be absolute most IF I ever make it anywhere to shoot that far.

Check out the ZA range, there the cheaper ones but still a great scope , at the weekend I could quarter my 1 moa target at 100 meters better with one of these on 18 power than my nightforce on 22
Also if some of you a wondering I have no connection with Minox or any other scope manufacturers
