We've been testing the prototype. The final production run shipped to us yesterday and we should have them in the store shortly!

Hi SniperJ,
Here is the link for the 308 length DBM: http://www.tikkaperformance.com/Tikka%20T3%20Aftermarket/Tikka%20T3%20Aftermarket%20Accessories/Tikka%20bottom%20metal
Also, it is important for everyone to know that Jeff did not design the long action DBM in a way that you can take advantage of the full 3.6 inches in the magazine. You will still be limited to “book” overall length.
This will affect magnum calibers the most. In our testing, my 338 Win Mag would not feed at 3.3″
However! Using a Lapua AI mag, my 270 WSM worked great!
Just something to keep in mind. There are limitations in this design.

So, let me get this straight…. I'm having a problem loading my cartridges for a longer COL on my T3 300 WSM and if I change a few things (bottom metal and magazine), I'll get the space in the magazine to allow me to do this?

Hi Sniper J
It's not an issue of running better, but increased capacity since you can use 5 or 10 round AICS magazines. AICS magazines are the military standard.

With the WSM you will also need to modify your bolt stop to ensure the bolt comes far enough back to pick up the cartridge. Here is an example of what I did: http://youtu.be/e4rCsOohVks

Hi Jason sorry for all the stupid questions so if i buy the CDI Precision bottom Metal and buy the AI mag is it just straight bolt on replacement or is their cutting and chopping to my standard barrel and stock cheers

Hi SniperJ
As it has been said, There are no stupid questions… Just stupid people giving bad advice… Wait… That last part was my own addition.
You will need to mill out a larger section on the bottom of your stock to accept the DBM since it is larger than the factory unit.
There are no modifications need to the action. If you have a 223, you will need to modify the feed lips. If you buy them from us, we modify them here.
