Canadian Tikka
Posted by SaskAb hunter on August 31, 2016 at 2:56 amTikka T3 Lite in 223 Rem. This is my light weight predator/varmint rig. Topped with a Nikon Prostaff 4-12×40.
Did the paint job myself and think the ghost flag turned out pretty good. The pic doesn't do it justice.
Super accurate gun with 69 grain pills and hope the 77s are just as good.SaskAb hunter replied 8 years, 4 months ago 2 Members · 2 Replies -

Honestly not much of a build. At this point the paint job is about as custom as it gets. Talley bases/rings. The gun has been a great shooter and no need to change anything. I went away from a heavy varmint rig because I hike and snow shoe a lot so weight needed to be cut down. I also opted for a less powerful magnification as I have missed too many coyotes and wolves trying to find them in a small field of view.
I personally just got into Tikkas this past year after I bought a T3 Varmint in 243. The gun is a great long range shooter and the actions are super smooth. Even my hunting rifle changed from a Browning A Bolt to a Tikka T3 Hunter in 270 Win. That gun shoots sub moa at 300m with 130 gr and 150gr Sierra Game Kings.
May paint up a varmint stock I have sitting around, wait to see when I get motivated.
