Best factory bullet in your Tikka T3 in cal. 300WM – Accuracy
Posted by gosbeau on February 17, 2017 at 8:19 pmHi all,
I am looking for a factory bullet (I do not load) with high accuracy, and that keep sub moa grouping at 100 yards.
I will also shoot at 200 or 300 yards.I will begin soon testing some bullets with my T3 cal. 300WM (Barrel is 24,4″ length).
With which bullet do have very good experience/grouping in thi 300wm caliber ?
Thanks a lot !

I've had good results from 110gr Vmax to 180gr TTSX. I reload and I know it won't help much, but your best bet would be to go to the shop, pick up a bunch of different boxes and start pulling the trigger. Should give you an idea what your gun likes.

Try these if you have not already…you gun should like one of them forsure, not cheap but good.
I've shot both the Barnes and Federal in my 300WSM and it liked both…
FYI – I've heard only positive reviews with Hornady's new ELD and ELDx ammo shot through a T3…BARNES TTSX BT – 180gr
Very, very accurate factory ammo…FEDERAL Trophy Bonded Tip – 180gr
Again, very accurate factory ammo…Hornady ELDx – 200gr

Thanks a lot,
I've heard that Nosler Accubond 180grs is good too …
There also the 'Long range' version …. but only as bullet, for reloaders …Thanks

The 180gr Accubond is excellent for just about everything! My go to bullet for handloads…
My hunting recipe for my 300WSM: 180grAccubond / 66.6grs H4831sc / Winchester brass…I've played with the LR Accubond with very good results but they are hard to find on the shelves anywhere in Canada.
