Barrel on Tikka T3x
Hi there, I'm a novice and just disassembled barrel from stock to adjust trigger on new T3x CTR. Putting it back together it seems there is a lot of space between foreend and barrell. In fact, if you squeeze foreend and barrel a bit there is some movement between them. I made sure to try to line up recoil lug with notch in barrel. Wish I had looked at gap before I disassembled. After breaking it down several more times, I can't figure a way to get it mounted any better than I have. Am I just paranoid or am I missing something critical?
Thanks for any advice. Worst case is obvious, I'll take it in to a gunsmith to inspect.

It's a floated barrel they should be a gap , have you used a toque wrench to retighten the action screws , any other questions just ask

Thanks for responding. No, I didn't use torque wrench but I did just buy one for the scope. Thanks for the tip, I'll look at manual for specified torque on action screws.

You will be better searching this forum for the toque setting
