Barnard Tikka T3 trigger
Just bought one and really impressed with it. There's not a lot wrong with the std trigger but I like a light trigger around 8oz so bought the Barnard. The instructions say you have to modify the bottom plastic/metal but as I have an AI bottom metal on it, it needed no modification. I played with the adjustments for a while to make sure I fully understood how it worked and adjusted it to break at 8oz, to do this I didn't need to change any springs it was just a few turns on the weight screw. I them took the first stage out, I also set the sear to give a bit more contact so it didn't slam fire then tested it by tapping and knocking the stock to make sure it wouldn't go off when knocked. It was also nice to be able to move the trigger blade back to suit the way I shoot.
Shooting it is a real pleasure just a light positive touch to fire. The only down side is there's no safety fitted but as its a target not a hunting rifle I fine with that.
Cost quite a bit but has made my T3 my favourite rifle again. -
