Jason-I'm glad to help out where I can.
I currently have 4 full blown customs being built on Tikka actions, and my special recoil lug design. Last weekend I took 2nd place in the Minnesota State F-Class championship with my Tikka Super Varmint in .223 caliber.
Last winter I sold every factory and custom rifle I owned, and switched my entire arsenal to Tikka's. I bought some used rifles for donors, and built 2 customs on existing actions. I feel that strongly about the Tikka platform.
Thanks again for turning me on to the Super Varmint! It's been a hoot.

Hi Bobby,
You can pm YukonAl and he'll get you all his info. He actually custom designed the recoil setup on this rifle.
Maybe after a few drinks I could get him to annie up the secret!

Jason,
I've taken my lugs one step further. We've trigged out the numbers and measurements, and now have drilled and double pinned the lugs to the faced off actions on 3 more new actions. (looks like at least 4 more GOM's)
I need to take a couple close-up pics and get them posted. Or, I could email them to you and you could put them up. Either way, it is bad azzed! These take customizing T3's to a new level!
And I have 5 more being CNC'd as we speak. ;D

Hi Al,
Definitely keep me posted on this. I'm thinking of hiring a gunsmith over here and we are looking at more customizable niche options for Tikka Shooters. Currently we have a brake we have designed for the Tikka sporters that we are looking to launch here soon.
Your lug design has me very intrigued. If you can, just email the pics to me.
I think you're having more fun with Tikkas than me!!!
