Another question on rings
I just purchased a Tikka T3 lite in .308. Also ordered the performance kit from Mountain Tactical with the 20moa rail. Just ordered a SWFA 3-15×42 scope. What height rings should I go with?
On my AR platform the lows were too low and I really had to burry my check into the stock to see through the scope. Had to add some picatinny risers and now it's great. Last thing I want to do with the Tikka setup is have a set of expensive rings gathering dust while I order another set.
Any advice would be great.

with a 42mm objective I would go with low rings. Those are about 0.9″ high. The rail will give you a little space between the action and the scope rings.

Yep low, I have the great Swfa scope(s) and lowered the better if stock fits
