.375 Ruger build? thoughts…
Ok so I sold all my Remingtons, and Winchesters, and now have 4 Tikka T3's from .243 to .338 WM. The lone “scab” in my gun cabinet is a Ruger African in .375 R. So now I want to build a T3 in .375 R. I'd like to stay with factory bottom “plastic” and mags, just because I dream of having all my rifles “exactly” the same. Even though there may be good reason to go with some.CDI metal and AI mags. I have ordered Manners EHS T3 stocks for my existing guns, so that would likely be the stock of choice for my .375 R T3. I have a SS T3 in .300 WSM, that will likely be the donor action and bolt. So I am interested in your thought on the practicality of the project, can it even be done safely? Does it make sense, in some warped Tikka way? And is there a smith you would recommend for such a project? Thanks in advance.
