.284 shehane for Tikka M595
Hi there
Excuse me if my english isn´t perfect, I am from Denmark. I own a Tikka M595 SS with interchangeable barrels, i have the original 7 08 Rem. and a Krieger barrel in 6mmBR. I want to do som long range shooting and since the 7 08 is a short barrel it is only good for hunting. So I looked at the .284 win which gives a little advantage, BUT the .284 Shehane is what i really want to use, either with 180 gr. VLD´s or i might settle for a barrel that can shoot 168 and 175 grainers, because there are more bullets in those weights for hunting. Has Any of you tried this ? my magazine will take a COL of up to 3.02″ and will feed and eject the cartridge, is this enough space ?
Greetings from Denmark 😉
