224 80gr Serra MK in T3x Varmint
Dear Tikka shooters,
I have just bought a .223Rem 24″ T3x Varmint as a budget mid range (300-800m) F Class rifle. I plan on using 80gr SMK as my main bullet. Sierra manual lists recommended COAL as 2,51″ – will it be fine in T3x chamber? Do you have any load recommendations?

Thats does sound long…i'm thinking you would be touching the lands, and forsure will need to be single loaded…will not fit factory mag.
I was loading the Berger 80.5 full bore to 2.42″ and the Hornady 75gr Amax at a max length of 2.46″…
all with a modified magazine and or single loading.Make up a dummy round and see if it chambers.
