223 mags that feeds properly with a third party chassis
I am planning to upgrade my Tikka T3x .223 Varmint by using a third party chassis. The ones I have been looking at include the KRG Whiskey-3, MPA BA Lite, etc. I did earlier on looked at a Cadex Competition but interestingly although they support a Tikka short action including a .223, their chassis specifically say that it will only work with a Tikka mag and none of the AICS mags.
I am currently shooting a Berger 80.3 grain bullet seated out long out of the gun. The gun shoots great but the round of course will not fit in a Tikka mag, thus one reason I am interested in a chassis that will allow long seating.
My question is anybody here with a Tikka T3/T3x that use one of the above chassis and is using an AICS mag like an Accurate or MDT mag and knows whether they feed properly?
