Beretta Muzzle Brake
Posted by Martingale on December 5, 2011 at 5:50 amHi Guys,
I bought a Muzzle Brake online and Its quite hefty. Looks great. I just want to make sure that it fits the T3. It appears to be the right one but I want to check with the pros in this forum. I have no real info other than the number above the bar code: S5740412
“BRAKE,MUZZLE TRG-22….” THE REST IS RIPPED OFF (BY ME)”Looks exactly like this SAKO: Tikka Beretta muzzle brake trg-22
I guess Im asking becasue its pretty hefty It looks right, but Im not very mechanically inclined, and this is my first rifle, coming from a handgun class of weapon.
Any info would be great. Beyond being the correct equipment, how it effects performance.
Thanks all.

Was looking at this for my T3 Sporter but found this one instead (see link below). I ordered one and figured how could I go wrong for $69. Has anyone tried one of these?

Tuning in because I would like to know as well.

I like th simplicity of the second image. But that still doesn't quite answer my question. I am assuming it will wok…yes?

The thread cut on the T3 tactical and the TRG are the same so the brake would be interchangeable.
If you have a varmint, non-threaded model, I recommend the HSS bolt on brake. Once I torqued the screws down to 50 in/lbs the groups tightened up nicely 😀
I'll be placing another HSS order shortly for anyone wanting to jump in and save some shipping $$$

Hey guys,
I still don't feel like I have a clear answer. is the T3 threaded for one thing? Im picking the rifle up tomorrow, so I really want to make sure this muzzle brake works. It was $140.
Thanks.

As long as the barrel is threaded by Tikka it will work.

Probably one of the easiest things Ive ever done. Works and looks great. Now on to the bolt and bipod. Ive already lost the directions becasue that is me.
PS what is a semi-affordable stock with thumb hole? That would be my next move. That and a barrel that can take several calibers (Ive heard that this is possible).
Thanks again.

Thanks Jason,
Site looks good.
By the way, does the thumbhole stock come solid black, rubberized, or composite?
Also, do you have English instructions as a .PDF? Im trying to get the bolt installed and Im a newbie….
Much appreciated.
