Downside is lot more noise and lot more dust if shooting prone. I like brakes on big calibers.

It is friend of mines son and using factory ammo and a Bushnell scope nothing custom just a good factory rifle and factory ammo. Caldwell bipod.

Any caliberated inch pound wrench will work. Wheeler Fat Wrench is popular.

I don't have my Tikka yet. September but then I am looking at base, rings, scope and maybe stock. Have to play with gun for a while, LTLR (Don) had Devin chambered it to 338 Sin and put a brake on it, I am waiting on him to get back from Alaska to get mine set up.
