I have had no problem shooting under 1 moa out to 800 yards with t3 lite in 25-06. I think you will be fine.

By the Way I ended up being an amazing 2.5 grains over max. that is where I stopped stretching primer pockets. Kind of scarry but was a good learning experience.

T3 stainless in 270wsm is on my bucket list. that is my altime favorite coyote caliber. fling a 140 out there at 3200 fps, shoot flat way better in with than .22 cal, I used to have one in a model 70 that I miss a lot.  I think the 270 wsm is highly underrated. so far I have only used the supplied tikka rings or millets (which I hate now) what rail are you using? the only 2 I know of if the EGW and the one made by NEAR which I think is an awesome design as he has a recoil lug that fit in the hole on the top of the action. just like the Sako TRG's

I think that either one is going to be fine. It would sadden me a little to see someone tear apart a perfectly good whitetail hunter model when the T3 is so abundant.  I am doing a complete rebuild of a t3 right now and i think its going to be fairly straight forward.. Not tons of options out there but there are some good ones.
