Spuhr is for sure premium, and the wedge makes it easy to mount the scope level if you choose those mounts.
But, I am honestly a Recknagel Fan, can’t beat a Era Tac, They usually a bit cheaper, except the adjustable ones, and yes they really work.
On the other hand, a American Defense will do 100% for sure. I wouldn’t pay the premium for Spuhr / Era Tac if you not go either .338 or higher or doing something serious like invade a country or compete in shooting for a living.

If he is right or wrong is hard to say for me, I don’t have his expertise or knowledge. But I am sure that due to tolerance issues some ammo won’t work in some rifles.
His rand on 6.5 CD and .300 PRC and 6.5 PRC is a typical old man can’t accept what new engineers design type of deal. But he certainly has knowledge that is beyond the average
