Sounds like a great setup. That looks like a really nice scope. It has the 70 moa of adjustment built in, the one I want to use has 71 so virtually identical for practical purposes. So you may be able to get about 55 moa of usable adjustment with your proposed setup. You can shoot to around 1300-1400 with that!

I have heard that Mike Lucas makes the best bore guide for the Tikkas. Does anyone have any other suggestions of a good quality rod guide that is readily available? The ML are special order everytime..

Thanks I am looking forward to finding out what you have. My ballistic app shows that I will need 30.29 moa for 1000 yards and 59.30 moa for 1450 yards. It would be nice to get out that far dialing up. After that I could hold over for a little more distance.

I should have added a couple things to my original post, such as:
So hypothetically if the gun, barrel and picatinny rail are machined perfectly flat and perfectly on axis and if I mount the scope (any scope) with zero moa rings (like a spuhr) then the available scope adjustment should be half of what the scope is capable of mechanically. So for anyone who is running a T3x Tac A1 in 6.5 have you checked to see how much elevation is left on your respective scope (if you are running zero moa picatinny rail and zero moa rings) ? Specifically, from your zero, dial down until it stops spinning… And if you have not checked would anyone be willing to? Now I know each gun will have slight variations, maybe even large variations but it would be great to hear what people have actually experienced. This may help me pick which spuhr mount and which picatinny rail. I don’t mind having some unused moa but I don’t want to leave a lot unused or unavailable due to how I mounted it.
    – So in reference to my original post, the razor hd gen 2 in 4.5×27 has 71 so we will say 70 for easy math. If I mount the scope with all zero moa rail/rings and I have 35 moa available then I also have 35 NOT available. So if I knew that I would pick a 30 moa rail.
Sorry for the extremely long wordy post.
Anyone using an all zero moa scope mounting setup please respond.
