Racine County Line Rifle Club goes out to 600 yards. Go to their public deer sight-in next weekend and ask about how to become a member. http://my.rclrc.net/index.php

McMiler is the best public one otherwise.

I must have been tired yesterday. Looked at it again and I just had a bad sight picture working in my basement yesterday. I too thought it was odd being so far forward.

However the rail may be too long for the scope. Barely getting a dollar bill clearing both sides, so I can't move it further back. May have to get that milled down a couple of notches but will spend some time at the range first once it warms up a bit here to check eye relief better.

    Thanks for the quick responses.

Don't know if you can get them where you are , Try Tier one muzzle break , they work and if you're inclined there threaded on the outside so you can fit there moderater/ silencer over the break without the need to remove it , and there fit and finish are second to none

Thanks Larkin. Did a quick search and it doesn't look like they are available here in the US.

    First post – yea!

Anxiously awaiting my CTR, and this is a topic I'm interested in. If anyone is familiar with this article, I'd be interested in someone with experience's take on the results.

    It's a 5-part series, but here's the intro:
    http://precisionrifleblog.com/2015/06/24/muzzle-brakes-field-test/

    And here's the results:

Based on this alone, I was considering the JP Recoil Eliminator or the JEC. Thoughts?
