Thanks jdboy.  The credit all goes to Mike Bush at BlackOps Precision (formerly USGW) and his right-hand man Tim Cronin.  They are fastidious with attention to detail.

    I could not be happier.

If I'm not mistaken, they will interchange and are the same bolt face, but headspace may be an issue.

    Håkan,

Jeff @ CDI says it can be done.  He's been working on it for wuite some time and keeps telling me that it's *almost* done, so maybe I should believe it when I see it.  There are some things about his design that are not ideal, but one “OK” LA DBM for the Tikka would be better than “0”.

    The Holland QD:

and the UGSW (now BlackOps Precision) Bad Azz:

are very similar in design and are *EXTREMELY* effective at reducing recoil and muzzle flip.  Both very important when your 300WM weighs right at 8 lbs. field ready.  🙂

The Bad Azz design is a little more sophisticated, as the port size gets smaller to keep port velocity high as the gases are bled off across each port, maximizing recoil reduction.

    Jason,

PM me or email me about DBM.  I have some input after using the CDI SA DBM that *might* be helpful.
