No problem going to Canada and I did take a photo with the Lite contoured barrel.
I'd post it here but it's a pain. Who runs this forum anyway? ;D

OK… I just got an update from GRS and the Berserks should be here in 2-3 weeks.
Initial price will be $599 per unit!
I'm working on the info page on our site now that I know when we'll be getting them.
Stay tuned!

If you transition from cold to warm or humid to dry climates while hunting, any wood stock can benefit from bedding.
Laminate is significantly more stable than standard wood, but it still compresses between the action and bottom metal over time.
It took my first laminate stock 5 years to compress to the point that I finally bed it. So you don't have to be in a hurry.

M8 threads…
Luckily there are some manufacturers that make brakes and suppressors with that thread.

Dog,
You nailed it. It should be noted that this is an issue that is specifically related to the factory synthetic stocks.
Walnut and laminate stocks do not have the pinch points because the material, by its nature, absorbs harmonic variations from the whippy barrels.
That said, I still like to bed these through the tenon if for no other reason that it relieves stress on the action.
Thank you for the thorough explanation!

I am behind on the bottom metal. There was a design change that was needed for 100% reliability with older magazines. So I decided to replace all the units for customers who already them.
Then, our tool changer on the mill went wonky and destroyed our bottom metal fixture and a couple thousand dollars of other equipment. I guess my mill is one of 3 or 4 that Haas has seen this problem with…
Lucky me!
Tomorrow, another tech is coming out to try and solve the problem so I can get cutting again.
My goal is to have the new fixtures completed this week and to spend all next week cutting bottom metal.
Thank you for your patience!

I just ordered some 1:8 Varmints and Lites today. We'll see how long they take to get here.

Teesquare nailed it!
You can't have a light, spindly barrel and not have harmonic issues. We've tested them with being and almost all T3s shoot best bed to that rib.
Those Fins know their stuff!

Ah. You should check out our Facebook page. There's been quite a bit of discussion over there about the status of our stocks.
I'm upgrading our shop and am taking the opportunity to set up some new machines for our wood working.
In order to do this, I had to take the existing machines offline.
They'll be back ;D
