    Thanks for the info. I would like to try some 190 long range accubonds, but I will give them as is with a standard OAL before I get a new bolt stop and a new magazine.

    Very sorry to hear this. See if you can find us a telephone number and a name to ask for. I for one would be happy to call and express how short sighted they are. My new desire to buy a Tikka did not come from any advertising on their part, it came from your community sharing information.

    I was at the gun shop today. I tried loading a 300WSM cartridge in a Tikka long action magazine. It went in, much to my surprise. I thought I had read on the internet that 300WSM cartridges would not fit in a long action magazine due to their slightly larger diameter. But it did. It was a bit rough getting a shell in an out. But it sure felt like some judicial work with a file would fix this and then it would feed fine.

    Has anyone tried modifying a tikka long action magazine to successful feed a short magnum shell?
