It's such a simple adjustment, believe me, you don't need pictures. 😉

You don't even need to take the action out of the stock, as the trigger is adjusted by turning the screw in the magazine well.

From reading the comments after this article:

The sako version of this lug was recommended.

I have a Tikka M55 from the 1980s that has the same, and it works perfectly well, so I'd say your okay.
It's a good thing to do in the cleaning regime to clean the bolt face, so keep at it.

That's interesting, if your rifle is what tikka are marketing as the super varmint now, it appears they've dropped the extended bolt handle.

Thanks. On the Third Eye Tactical rails – it turns out that they are flush with the action with no overhang, so wont need any trimming.

I've got one of these bore guides, plus these guys send to Europe.

Are you gonna trim the end that sticks out over the barrel flush with the action? A hacksaw, file, and emery paper works pretty good.
Unless you have access to a mill…
I'm hoping I wont have to trim the rail, if it does need doing, I have a friend who is good at gunsmithing, so I would just ask him to do it.
The one on order ended up being a 20MOA model. I hope it all comes together okay. 😮
I will post in the Pictures section in a few months time when the various rifle accessories all come together.

I've had my Tikka in 7mm-08 for about half a year. I still never bought any factory loaded ammo because I started with hand loads from the start. I was wondering if anyone worked up some 7mm-08 loads for their rifles. Load data, velocity, and group size would be great.
I'm using Vhit N140, but you'll have to find what suits your rifle.

35 inch lbs. is plenty, and I would NEVER go above 45 inch lbs. Especially on the wood stocks.
I've been tightening the action screws in my tikkas to 35″lbs too. I did a search a while ago, and at that time Beretta had emailed back an answer to someones question that 35″lbs was the correct torque.
