Hi,

For MDT :
Advantage : Tactical Look.  MDT Magazine are cheap
Disadvantage : so difficult to put Tikka into chassis. Impossible to take off action, so it's difficult to clean barrel.

For XLR :
Advantage : most beautiful chassis (for me). You can use MDT magazine
Disadvantage : you must use hight ring scope because forend have large diameter

I have XLR chassis, so for me XLR is better 😉

What do you mean “hight ring scope because forend have large diameter”?

are you saying that if i have a rail on the forend that it sits higher than the scope? so it wont line up with my scope??
