thanks mate! the new mag rattles less and is cheaper too! something to do with tax regulations on exporting military grade gear causing a significant drop in $$$ because these no longer fit the TRG. It certainly feels like a more snug fit to the rifle.
i will pretty much use this setup for hunting deer pigs and goat so nosler is probably an experiment that has to wait (for now) but thanks for the tip, i will give it a go one day and let you know the results once i take it past 400 meters.

Thanks for the quick reply Larkin.
I'm in Australia and those scopes are hard to find let alone buy. Did a bit of research and really impressive piece of gear for the advertised prices.
I had a look at the Zeiss V8 range and they are above 3k+ here in AU and above my budget.
Probably looking to spend no more than 2k since the rifle is going to cost around that.
Any thoughts on Burris eliminators?

G'day
I saw this post and wanted to get your thoughts on a similar matter.
I've put a deposit on a T3 CTR .308 as well but looking for a scope that will shoot well up to 300-400 yards
I was looking to spend same bucks for the scope as the rifle and wanted to get opinions on which scope is good for hunting low light conditions.
The top contender currently is the Burris eliminator 3.
feel free to share opinions/advice.
thanks
