I'm in for a .223 mag…I'm guessing you would sell more than a few, seems the Tikka mag is the downfall of the T3.
Wasn't it someone here already working on a metal mag?

Your right…I would not have to scrap the stock.
But now I'm thinking I might just put a KRG X-ray stock on it, which uses AI mags (and be more or less pillar bedded)…and sell the wood stock.
I might get a couple hundred for the stock…it is a nice stock.
I'd hate to waste money trying another $60 tikka mag, and it seems no one has any idea if it would solve anything. I've even Emailed Beretta about the issue, with no reply.
Seems sad that tikka has this mag…I've had this kind of issue with AK's, but there was always cheap alternatives.
Oh well, Thanks for your input

Yea..sounds logical…I'm not using a hot load. Around 25gr Varget over a 69 gr. SMK.
I'm shooting at 200 yds MOA. It's a start.
Thanks for your reply, I thought it was nothing to worry about, just checking.

Got the rifle, mounted a scope, took it to a indoor 50yrd range for sight in…WOW!, this thing shoots! ;D
5 shot groups that look like 3. I don't know if I NEED to bed this thing.
I'll take it outside this weekend for 200 yrds.

So, I would guess the sporter (wood) stock is not pillared and bedded? I will receive the rifle this week and will know more.
At this point I'm thinking I'll need to add pillars, put in a stainless lug and bed it..
I've done this to a few rifles in the past, but am always open to suggestions.
I would guess that you need to mill the stock for bottom metal upgrade? I hope I won't have to go down that road… unless…?
Thanks for your reply and insight.
