tikka t3 stock
morning everybody, I was thinking about getting my tikka t3 243cal
rifle barrel threaded, been on ebay and found a adapter for it.
I had some things to sell so I went to my local pawnshop where they
have my tikka t3 rifle on layaway. I ask to see it so that I could look at
the barrel, to my shock, there were damage to the stock, small indents
in the stock. I ask the pawnshop person why there were holes in my wooden stock.
he stated that they were there when I put money down on it. I got upset and told
him the only thing wrong with the stock was a small area near the leftside of the grip.
I told him that I wanted to talk with the owner of the shop. they couldn't figure-out
why there was holes in the stock, so they took $25.00 off on my layaway.
I was so upset, I was holding the rifle in my hands and wanted to throw the rifle
on the floor, butt I didn't.. what would you do about this matter?
I had already pay $181.00 for it, $350.00 to pay it off.
this is just my rant about the wooden stock. does anybody have a wooden stock that
they would donate for cheap?? maybe the pawnshop have termits?? -

Hey tikkafin, I hear your pain, this is the problem with pawn shops. They play with the merchandise even though it’s ”sold”.
The good news is they have not shot it (probably) and your rifle is likely as good a performer as it was when you put money down.
The best ammo for a Tikka 243 is in the “less than 100 grn” range with its 1:10 twist.
You will have a great rifle with ok wood. Don’t be afraid to cancel the layaway if the wood is important to you. -
