I have an older model Tikka that I have been hunting with for the last 10 years and I ended up breaking the stock on a bad slip and fall this hunting season. Is there anybody out there that can point me to a website or gunsmith that might have a plain (rough) wood stock for sale? The rifle model is a M695 RH chambered for .25-06. I am not having any luck on my own and as far as I can see the store doesn't carry any older model stocks.
Thanks
Gary

We are working on the m695 currently and plan to have those stocks ready in the next 10-12 weeks. The adjustable stocks on our site are available in a m695 inlet.

We are designing our own muzzle brake and will no longer import the ones from Hinterland. We had too many quality control issues to trust there products any longer. That and they went to aluminum for their new brakes which fail with magnum calibers and rapid firing of smaller calibers.

Question to any who might help. I have a T3 25-06 and it used to shoot well like 1 inch groups at 200 yards. Then is fell apart like 2 inch groups at 100 yards. I am now thinking it is the original rings. I have changed scopes ammo and stocks. What set up is best. I am thinking of the Warne Tikka rings, but the rail system looks good too. I have had good luck on other rifles with Warne rings. I also like USA made steel. I have read some good reviews about DNZ game reapers also. So what does everyone think. I am about to just get rid of the rifle if it doesn't return to its good accuracy. Oh and yes I did clean the barrel it is in great shape. Thanks

Hi David
We have two 25-06 T3s in our shop right now that show the same behavior. The customers both said accuracy fell off after 150-200 rounds.
One has an issue with the recoil lug. The factory stock had such a poor fit with the recoil lug that it was damaged. Even our oversized lug wouldn't fit right. Since the customer doesn't want to buy a new stock, we are going to skim bed the action and fill the recoil lug recess with devcon and bed our Elite Lug.
The other rifle had a ring failure. That one is easy. Once we isolated the problem we put Warne Maximas on and the groups tightened back up. Unfortunately the scope was damaged during the failure but Zeiss is taking care of the customer.
What stock did you go with? If it was one of ours, it has the Elite Lug in it. If not, it might have a cheap lug like the factory one. We have even seen B&C stocks actually perform worse than the factory stock because of poor machining.
You can email us at vasb@grzc.gvxxnfubbgref.pbz if you want to dive into this further.
Hopefully this info helps!

Hi Assassin
Our server hasn't had any downtime and the store is humming along perfectly.
What isn't working on your end and we'll try to get it figured out.
By the way… Rails just got back from anodizing and salt bath nitriding yesterday!
We are filling back orders as quickly as possible and will post an up to date inventory this afternoon.
Thank you for everyone's patience!

Thanks Jason.I'm having a registry key problem.Tried to fix it but no dice yet.I will have to have someone more knowledgeable than me,have a look at it. I can still order if I go to the registry,so all is not lost.

If you have any problems or feel more comfortable, give us a call 406-285-2371. We'd be more than happy to help you out.
I'll ask our web developer about the registry key issue. I've never heard of that, but I'm a gun guy, not a web guy!

Any idea when the elite 20moa pic. rails are due in? I ordered an elite kit in early January with no mention of OOS status. I've received everything but the rail. I was told I would have it on Febuary 3rd but that has come and gone. I've written 2 emails since then requesting their ETA with no response. I can handle waiting but some communication would be appreciated. My T3 sporter build has been waiting on this rail for over a month so you can imagine I'm getting a bit anxious. Thanks Zane order #14989

Hi Zane,
Which email address have you been using? Rob prides himself in getting through the 100-150 we get per day within 24 hours. Most of the time when people say they don't get a response, it is because the response went into their spam folder.
Be sure to use vasb@grzc.gvxxnfubbgref.pbz as the general inquiry mailbox.
We are expecting to have those back from Salt Bath Nitriding in a couple weeks.
After selling out of all the Gen1 Elite Rails, we figured we would upgrade everyone to Gen 2 Elite Rails in their kits. It has taken longer than we expected to get them done due to some health problems, and I apologize for that.
Also note that you can call us anytime at 406-285-2371. Email is fastest, but the phone works too.

I've been using eboreg.c@grzc.gvxxnfubbgref.pbz , nothing in my junk folder. A 2 month wait for pic rail seems a bit excessive but I've waited this long so a couple more weeks won't kill me.

Hi Zane,
Robert and I reviewed the server and there were two replies sent to your inquiries. It even shows you replied to one of the emails that we had sent you regarding your inquiry.
Your order was placed 1/4 and I am sorry you have had to wait so long.
We sold through two batches of all of our rails at the end of last year and have been machining non stop to fill the back orders.
I guess these are good problems to have though… It could be worse, no one could want our products! 😉
