T3x Varmint .223 – What is your OAL for 69gr Matchking Hollowpoints?
I made a dummy round using twice-fired PMC .223 brass. I ran it twice through a RCBS small base resizing die. The base of the die was touching the shell plate on my Dillon and the handle “cammed-over”. Trimmed to 1.750. Seated the 69gr. Matchking to 2.235 with a light crimp.
The bolt will not close. Tried a medium crimp. Still won't close.
What OAL works for you folks with 69gr. Matchking Hollowpoints?
If you have to load these bullets shorter, how much do you reduce your powder charge? I have CFE 223, Benchmark, and 8208 to work with.

Your oal is fine , are the die set correctly , some make of die's need screwing in a little more , check how to set the die's with the maker , if my memory is correct my Lee die's need half a turn more from touching the shell holder , my Redding dies just need to touch the holder

To better understand if it's the case sizing or the bullet seating try resizing a case and chambering it. Does the bolt close without too much effort?

If you crimp your case too hard, it will cause a bulge in the case head. That will keep you from chambering the round. Try the same round without a crimp, it will probably work.
