Details on how to free float factory stock
Okay, so I know that the barrel should be free floated all the way to the reciever. Sure enough when i checked mine it was not free floated all the way. (Super varmint .223)
My question is how exactly do I do a proper free float without damaging anything. Just use normal sand paper and remove access material free hand? Without a dowel?
I know this might be a silly question but my brain can focus on detail sometimes. ;D

I’d just do it by hand a little at a time , and there’s no such thing has a silly question ( I do realise somebody’s going to prove me wrong ), just silly answers
