magazine drops out

I recently had my stock painted and some of the clear coat must have caked the spring and mag won't click shut.. As a result , the magazine drops out upon taking a shot . Has anyone had any experience with cleaning inside the spring assmbly ?

I have had no mag drops with standard mags
