What’s up with these lousy poly mags?
I recently bought a T3 CTR in .223. The mag refuses to accept all 5 cartridges. I sent it back to Berretta customer service, which was very good, and got a brand new Sako replacement mag, same thing! It seems like there is too much side play inside the magazine, and the .223's start to stagger and will only take 3. They will also start to shave off the lips of mag and quit feeding up parallel, which causes the bolt to not be able to catch rim of cartridge. Any fixes besides spending another few hundred bucks on new bottom metal and mags?

You are one of many Tikka owners, including myself, that are struggling with this. I built a prototype that works perfectly and accepts vld bullets. Currently I am in the process of putting it into production.
Once complete, it will be available in the Tikka Store on the main site.

Ah now your other post makes per sense Jason. I have the .308 and those babies are tight in the mag. I haven't had any of the issues you guys are having with the .223. Short of a sore shoulder after 60 rounds.
