Standard weight barrel
Tikka rifles must be really popular. I never thought I would see a forum devoted to them. I have heard nothing but good reports on the Tikka, and am considering buying one, but have a question or two for you folks. I want a heavy barrel Tikka in .243, but you can't get one in America. For long range shooting, do you think a standard weight barrel would be ok? I won't be shooting round after round like for varmints, but don't want to give up accuracy, if it would be noticeably better with a heavy barrel.
Your thoughts on this??

I have had no problem shooting under 1 moa out to 800 yards with t3 lite in 25-06. I think you will be fine.

Thanks, Tikkamike! That sounds good enough for my purposes. The more I learn about Tikkas, the more I find that everyone finds them quite accurate. Gotta get one!
