FYI…I had my 300wsm lite barrel threaded and the gunsmith would not thread 1/2-28…he would only complete the job if I agreed to 9/16-24…it all to do with shoulder profile and the specific break i was going to use.

If you know what you are doing great, if not I would consult a smith in your area just to be sure before you start…

If the barrels big enough you can thread it what ever you like, you just have to make sure there’s enough of a shoulder after the thread to screw up to

thanks larkin, I will check if the recoil lug is steel.
by the way, do you know of anybody that has any scope rings to fit the t3 rifle?
also how much for a used scope base for it? thanks jimmy

hi, I'm new on this site and would like to know if anybody has a used scope rail for a tikka t3 rifle?
my new rifle didn't come with any scope rings.
how can I get intouch with tikka about this? thanks jimmy
