Thanks rudy. What are your thoughts on the 12″ vs 14″ handguard?

I see the only weak link in the whole system being the folding stock (maybe I'm wrong). But, it wouldn't affect accuracy. If I go this route–and I prob will–I'll get the Tac stock w/o folding option.

Thanks again for posting. I've been looking at chassis', but didn't know this one was out there!

I think the only time I would consider the 12″ handguard, if I had a short barrel.  I bought the chassis without the folder, but installed the push button folder from Ace as an after thought.  With the folder option, I am able to transport it in a compact case.  I really don't see a weakness in the folder other than the small amount of play that it has.  I have not seen any change in accuracy since installing it.  I am very happy with this chassis. I think that no matter what chassis you decide on, it will be an improvement over the plastic stock these rifles come with.

Very neat looking rig, Rudy. Will you post the links to the chassis and other parts you added?

I got the chassis from Kyle at XLR Industries http://www.xlrindustries.com/
The bolt knob and shroud I got from Hinterland Shooter's Supply http://www.hss.net.au/index.php?cPath=118&osCsid=c6c3342083a5ded82c57683d6e254115
    The bipod I got from GG& G http://www.gggaz.com/
The folder mechanism I got from Mississippi Auto Arms, though XLR Industries does offer a folder for their chassis.  I opted for the pushbutton folder, so therefore added it on after I got the chassis. http://www.mississippiautoarms.com/
The integrated scope mount and rings I got from here http://store.accuracyinternationalsrt.com/categories/AI-Scope-Mounts/
The scope can be had from various dealers on the Internet.  I just did a search on it and found a place that had it in stock at a sale price.

Just placed an order for one with Kyle for my T3 Varmint in 223 Rem.  It's an eight to ten week wait, but from what I hear from previous customers, it's well worth the wait.  I'll post a quick review after I've had a chance to test it out.
