Thanks Larkin, I ended up going with one from Masterpiece Arms as they are here in GA and had a nice conversation with him. Going to shoot with it for first time tomorrow and really think I’ll like it.
Don’t know if you have ever used a bag rider for rear, but if interested take a look at http://www.adjustablebagrider.com. The most functional, elegant solution to better shooting I’ve come across! Groups are sooooo much more consistent and tighter! If you call the guy, his name is Dave and tell him I referred you. Thanks for responding to my earlier post. Rick

Thanks Larkin, that helps. I’ve ordered a set of rings and a one piece base set up to see which I like better. Hope you had a great Christmas!

Thanks, I got a quick email response saying I would be contacted soon with a code. The good news is they gave me a contact persons name to reach out to. I think I’ll do that tomorrow.

Well, I’ll just box some 260’s up a send ‘em to you- LOL. I handload too and looking forward to working up a load for this one. Measured to Lands to compare against my Ruger Long Range Target and am amazed at difference. My Ruger measured 2.235” the new Tikka measures 2.282” so will be able to seat bullet very long. Have ordered a spring kit to lighten a bit. The existing trigger won’t get below 2.5# and that’s a little heavier than I like. Waiting for new scope rings then I’ll be ready. Let me know how your first outing goes and I’ll do the same.

Hey Larkin, I’m in the US, but I can’t even find a site to register. The main distributor is Beretta here in the states and I’m going to call them on Monday. Those clips are pretty pricey as you know and I don’t want to miss out on a free one! Tell me how you like your new A1 – from you reply sounds like you haven’t had for too long. I hope to get scope mounted this weekend and get out next week to shoot.
