Well, I am getting a Vortex HST 4-16×44 with MOA reticle and turrets. Should be good for 500 yards, the max I can do at my range. I will be getting a better scope if I get better a shooting and work on the 1000 yard goal.

Because it will take me another 3-4 months to save the money for quality optics and I at least want to get started shooting the short distances. Perhaps I will just go for a Vortex PST and call it done.
