I currently own a couple of Tikka's as well as several other rifles. In my opinion the Tikka T3 is the best factory rifle for the money. All of mine have shot 1 moa or less with factory ammo. If you reload they will do better. I to was concerned about the plastic bottom metal, bolt shroud and mags. But I have never had a problem. Although I have heard of a couple people talk about their bolt shroud breaking. So I changed all of mine out to aluminum. Its relatively cheap and very easy to do. As far as Stainless steel barrels compared to Chrome Molly barrels I personally think that the stainless are a little more accurate and a little easier to clean. Hope this helps you in your decision but remember these are just my opinions and experiences.

And thank you! I am happy with the end result. The only thing left is I am having the bolt fluted.

The action fits a little loose in this stock. But once its bedded it is rock solid.
