My vote goes to the 695/595 series. The action was smoother for sure, and when i built my 695, the gunsmith said it was as square as some custom actions he's seen….that's saying alot! I've shot a T3 in 300 wsm, and it's a great action, I just prefer my 695.

Well i finally got to the range today, and got some rounds down range. It wasn't a great day to shoot. 60 degrees, 15-20 MPH winds that gusted to 30. My whitetail hunter was the all black synthetic, and shot right around MOA…I've got the action back, and if it shoots as good as it looks, I'd say it'd make you cry for joy. I'm hoping sub 1/2″ which should be doable for a shillen match barrel

Wonder if anyone would make the metal trigger guard for about $150-$200 for the M695/M595? As far as the forums go, I think the Gunsmith Grading forum for gunsmiths that work on tikkas would be a great benefit.
