:I prefer to make it and not buy it. Export from US to Europe is a pain in the ass.
And Yes Jason! US BR and F-classรฉrs are the best!
But we are doing our best. Our time will come ;D. -

I always shoot SSF on the range.
I use the heavy .223's in my AR. I like them.
By the way: 300 .30cal GS bullets cost me $375 ๐ ๐ ๐Marcel

Nick,
Roedale in Germany offers the barrel nut system. He's just started offering this system for Tikka, Howa and Remington.
Readily available??? Hmm.. Roedale is a very good gunsmith but you must be patient sometimes. Here is a link to the website:
http://www.webshop.roedale.de/product_info.php?info=p448_Custom-Made-Select-Match-Grade-Barrels.htmlI'll visit him at the 2012 IWA in Germany. (The Shotshow for Europe) I have some extra wishes.
I'll place my order if we agree 100%.Marcel

The idea of using a .308 magzine in a .223 T3 crossed my mind the first time I made some pictures.
I do not know why I didn't do anything with the idea. Luckily you still thought of it!!!I'm just curious. Can one use a .338 magazine as a SSF in a .308?
Best wishes for 2012,
Marcel

Use the right glue. Put the magazine top and bottom together without the spring when the glue is dry enough.
You're now ready to test your home made SSF. ;D

Take the plate and glue it in the right angle and height you marked in the magazine.
Check te height at the back of the magazine with the marking on the dummy. -

Pic3-A: The dummy should fall through the opening you made.
