Just bought a Manners stock for my Tikka T3 and was curious about the proper torque values for the action screws. The information on the the web seems to vary greatly, so I finally took my torque screwdriver and set it to 25 in.lbs. I turned the screw on my Tikka and increased the the the setting 1 in.lb. till the screw began to turn. Both my screws began to turn at 31 in. lbs, so it is safe to say that the screws were originally set to about 30 in. lbs.
