I just bought an XLR industries stock for my tikka T3 tac and the picatinny rail interferes with the assembly.  Is there a good way of removing it to shave of 1/16-1/8 of an inch?  Reason I ask there are fourstar bolts holding it on as well as fitted over two recessed studs and I removed one that was VERY tight and a white powder came out with it.  Is this lock tight?  The second bolt was so tight it just shattered the head so I stopped.  Any help would be appreciated  Thanks

Found the answer if anyone cares……use a small hand held butane torch and heat each screw to soften the glue holding each screw in and slowly unscrew.  If no heat….shattered head.
