Are you getting the recoil lug seated correctly? I would get some wax or modeling clay and do a fit check. Use a rolling pin and roll out a thin layer of clay and put this into the area you think may be binding and tighten screws until the magazine refuses to seat or binds. This will give you an idea of whats happening inside the seating area.

I have the T3 Lite stainless in 30'06 and it shoots the 180gr better than anything. I tried everything, I am an 06 nut, used to hate it, but now I love it and all its offspring.
I had probably 20 different brands of ammo in 150gr up to 220gr, the 220gr were brutal in this Lite. I had a cut across my nose for a week.
I did the shoot and clean, fouling round and then 3 for a group, regardless of brand, my rifle likes the 180gr weight. It actually shot the cheap Winchester Super X 180gr power points the best. I actually ordered a case of them. I would hunt with any round I tried under 300yds, but I would stretch the range out to 400 on smaller quarry, pigs and yotes. I installed the Ernie The Gunsmith Varmint Trigger spring in this rifle, torqued the action screws to 32in lbs and mounted a Leica 3-15 x 56mm ER 5 scope in a high DNZ tactical scope mount.
This gun is far more accurate than either of my X-Bolt rifles in the same caliber.

I found the factory 5rd magazines, so I am set there.
I looked at the GRS and I am not a fan, I really like the looks and feel of the factory laminate. I am wanting to update another rifle with the same stock. I am not a fan of the tupperware stock on my T3 Lite stainless in 30'06, I will either update it with the factory laminate or possibly a Bell & Carlson.

This is the Laminate SS 6.5 with the sporter barrel contour.
