Thank you, that is probably what he meant. I just thought it was an odd coincidence that the action screws came from the factory torqued to @ 20 inch-lb which was the same as Eric's suggestion, and figured I would post it up.

Hi everyone. This is my first post.
So I recently picked up a brand new T3 lite stainless in 6.5×55, a set of DNZ Game Reapers, and a FAT wrench. Santa was especially good to me this year 🙂
Last week I emailed Beretta and asked what is the recommended torque value for the action screws. I received a reply ( from Eric, I believe): 20 inch-lbs. After googling the subject and reading all the posts on the various forums, it seems there is no consensus, so I decided to test the screws in my rifle. I set the fat wrench to 20 inch-lbs and……both screws turned easily. I removed the action, looked everything over, reinstalled and torqued the screws (front to back) to 20, then 25, and finally to 30 inch-lb. 20 just seems way too light.
I haven't shot the gun yet, but will hopefully take her out this weekend for sight- and break-in, and we'll go from there.
