Hi,
problem now solved. Stripped the adjustable mechanism inside the stock and reversed/turned over the zinc coated rectangular plate. -

Hi Guys,
I have a T3 varmint stainless in synthetic stock. Great rifle. Don't expect good groups initially. I was told they start tightening up about 300 – 400 rounds and that is exactly what has happened.
Groups on FMJ appear to be tighter at the moment than expanded, but I am currently loading some V max bullets instead of the Remington SP factory I used.Thinking of buying T3 Sporter in .308 when some credible reviews come out.

Thanks for info. I took the spring and plastic moulding out. It looks like the magazine is moulded in two parts,stuck together horizontally. This gives a recessed join line which was catching on the front edge of the moulding. I very lightly deburred the follower and oiled the internal faces and all seems OK now.
