I took it off again and found no dirt or debris. I think it is too long from the hole to the gripping (edge which is without damage) I ordered a Sako style from will get it installed if it's the proper one??

Yes I can punch it into the bot face with my thumb
I can feel the tension on the extractor
When I pull the shell out fast it doesn't improve it much at all.It seems to tilt to much on the way out to the point it is above the rim on the bolt face and lets go.

No even when I do it slow to see what's going on it let's go to early. I wonder if the ejector spring is to strong?

I checked against a M65 in 30-06 and it does stick out a little further.

I just tried that and the cartridge stays hooked to the extractor.
The ejector seems to push it off the extractor prematurely when I pull the cartridge out of the chamber. -

It pulls the empty shell or bullet out and lets them go before ejecting.
I have to turn the rifle up and upside down to get them out most of the time. -

Did you ever install a new extractor? I am having the same problem with my 22-250 LSA 55.
I wanted to find out which extractor works well in the gun. There are a lot of Sako extractor's to choose. -
