I love the Muscle Brake. Good choice.

Thanks, I think it will work excellently well. I'm going to do a slabbed Mini Magnum. Now to see if I can find a local Smith to thread the barrel when I get it… Still waiting for a receipt from my local gander mountain, so I can get my refund from Remington lol

    Here you go:

    .625″ at 24″
It's a pretty light barrel on a magnum.
    I swapped my 300 WM to a Bartlein light Palma – .776 at 26″.
It has a brake (from LRI) and is pretty tame now.

Terminator Products T3 titanium brakes are superb too.

Thanks J, yeah I saw a sheet from Lilja with the factory contours that said .625″ at the 24″ muzzle, but wanted to check with you all to make sure! I've looked at the Terminator brakes and they are a very effective design! But the Muscle brake is less than half the cost of a T2 Terminator and was the 2nd best custom brake design tested by a very reputable yet little known smith, so I'm going to give it a shot! JE Custom btw

Pwheeler, if you don't mind a bit of forming check out the 280 and 300 Sherman rounds developed by Rich Sherman over on Long Range Hunting forum… Getting near Magnum performance in an '06 size case.
