I don't know which ammo it was sadly if I did I would contact the manufacturer. 

It didn't recoil excessively nothing seemed abnormal.

My only thought was improper heat treat on the bolt.

Either way it doesn't sound like Tikka or Beretta are interested in doing anything about it.

That's fine I just don't want to pay 2/3 of the value of the rifle for a bolt.
