I’ve been shopping for a replacement Tikka m595 bolt shroud…..there are several generations of bolt shrouds being sold.

….are there any functional or fit differences between generations or are the differences merely cosmetic?

appreciate any help/guidance.

I’m not finding all that much regarding significant differences particularly as they pertain to barrel weight/contour, trigger etc. I checked the Tikka website but there’s not a lot of info to differentiate the rifles (aside from stock features).

anyone have any more info or specs on the rifles?

i know it’s an old post but figured i’d update it:

1)to adjust the recoil pad on the m595 master sporter:

3mm hex screw through recoil pad

5mm hex screw underneath recoil pad to adjust cant, elevation

2) To add a picatinny rail, these options work nicely: <b style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;”>Atlas BT28: AccuShot AFAR Kit
