Talley's are well respected in the industry.  Make sure they are properly installed and tightened to specification and feel confident in your equipment.  Hunt safe!

The gun is the Tikka T3 Lite Stainless.  The model of the stock the B&C Medalist.

I know the pad is a Pachmayr Decelerator but I don't know the model number.

I have a pic of the gun with the B&C stock and a pic of the target I shot this weekend.  It's dark out when I get home so I had to take the pics indoors which doesn't help the color detail but I can e-mail these pics to someone to post up.

I'll take some pics tonight but I'll probably need help getting the pics posted.  FYI, I contacted Bell & Carlson and they said the action screws should be tightened to 50 inch pounds in case anyone was wondering.

This gun is better (by a little) than 1 MOA for 3 shots with ammo it likes on a consistent basis.  Sometimes groups were considerably better than 1 MOA but rarely over.  Fine shooting rifle.  Any bad groups were operator error I'm sure.  I'm hoping to get out this weekend but the forecast is calling for more than a foot of snow tonight and tom… Read more

I am very curious to hear about your testing of that Ultra-Lite stock.  Do tell what you are finding.  Do you have any pics, I'd love to see some pics.  Hard to believe that any laminate stock can be as lightweight as the factory plastic stock.  Love the idea of a drop in stock that is the same weight but much stiffer.

Does anyone know what the Helmrick Ultra lite laminate stock for the Tikka T3 weighs?  Is it a straight drop in?  Is it more stable than the factory plastic stock?
