I was able to remove the rail tonight using a 1000F heat gun, moving it slowly around the rail for about 15 minutes. I then used a t-shirt to lift up the rail, which still took some effort. – Most accurate 308 I've shot with handloads…will shoot 1moa or better with just about any ammo you run through the gun.
